Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-motivated and willing Dental Nurse with excellent customer service skills to complement our established staff team at Daventry Dental Care Monday -Friday 8.30-5.30pm.

We are a hardworking, friendly team looking to upskill and use our full skill set in the practice making the patient the heart of everything we do. We are looking for someone who will work in surgery with long-term looking to career progress . This is a customer facing role, duties include all tasks conducive to Dental Nursing, stock control, communicating in a team, being a team player and compliance duties. We looking for a nurse that want career progression and highly motivated to do well as a team and individually. Patient confidentiality is essential in this role and an understanding of GDPR is desirable.

The successful applicant may also be asked to undertake other tasks to aid the smooth running of our Practice. We use 'Exact' software; some knowledge of this is helpful but full training will be given if necessary.

We expect qualified applicants to be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and to pass a Criminal Records Bureau check. Any further qualifications after dental nursing will be highly considered ie Radiography / Oral Health Education etc and will increase your hourly rate if used in practice

The Practice will pay your GDC registration while you are working with us. You will also be asked to provide up-to-date proof of the necessary vaccinations and Hepatitis B immunity status and Covid 19.

About us:

Our surgery opening hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday-Friday. The successful appliant will work Monday- Friday . Our standard working week is 37.5 hours and we all work 1 Saturday per month 8.30-3pm at 1.5 x hourly rate if overtime is offered to you.
