Job Description

An established, independent veterinary practice in West London is looking to recruit a

Registered Veterinary Nurse

with experience, or a

Head Nurse

ready to take the next step in their career. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who thrives in a clinical environment, enjoys responsibility, and wants to be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day clinical operations of the practice, working closely with the vets and the nursing team to deliver excellent patient care. This role is suited to someone who is confident in theatre, inpatient care, nurse consultations, and mentoring junior team members.

| THE ROLE |

Provide high standards of nursing care and support across all areas of the practice Assist in training and development of VCAs and student nurses Support and guide the clinical team in maintaining protocols and best practices Be actively involved in clinical decision-making and patient management Contribute to the smooth running of the practice, including stock control and equipment maintenance
Experience as a

Clinical Coach

is highly desirable, but training will be supported for the right candidate willing to take on the role.

| WORKING HOURS |

40 hours per week, ideally Monday to Friday (8 hour shifts) Flexible option for a 4 day week with 10 hour shifts 1 in 4 Saturday mornings No OOH

| ABOUT YOU |

Must be RCVS registered Previous leadership or head nurse experience is advantageous but not essential Strong clinical skills and a proactive approach to patient care Passionate about mentoring and developing junior team members
