Duties: To manage the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, supervise and manage all aspects of the restaurant, including front-of-house and front desk operations.
Hands on during restaurant service.
Work closely with the manager and evening team.
Train and develop staff members to deliver excellent customer service.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and timely delivery.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
Essential skills & qualifications
Experience in hospitality, level 2 hospitality degree preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
Bar & Barista skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Attention to detail.
Typical duties during service
Checking on diners to ensure satisfaction and food quality.
Supporting staff with setting tables and serving food and beverages.
Improving service profitability.
