Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Roofer to join our well-established team based in Kendal. The role involves working on both residential and commercial properties throughout the South Lakes, taking on everything from minor repairs to full roof replacement. You will work both independently and as part of a team, depending on the project size.

You'll be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems, with a focus on quality workmanship and safety. A good understanding of roofing materials and techniques is essential.

For the right candidate, there is the potential for a more senior role after successful completion of the probationary period.

Duties

Install, repair, and replace roofing systems using various materials. Inspect roofs to assess damage and provide accurate recommendations for estimates to be produced from. Maintain clean, tidy, and safe work areas throughout each project. Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting heavy materials and equipment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a roofer. Skilled in a range of roofing systems and techniques. Proficient with tools and materials used in roofing. Physically fit with the ability to work at heights and carry heavy loads. Full UK driving licence is essential, as use of a company vehicle may be required.
