We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Sales Administrator
to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced Landscape Construction company. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to the sales team, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal departments. Responsibilities include maintaining the CRM system, managing customer inquiries, processing enquiries, and assisting with sales reporting. The Sales Administrator will play a key role in supporting the business's growth by ensuring timely and efficient sales administration processes. Strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency in office software are essential. Experience in the construction industry and understanding of the tender process would be beneficial but not essential.

Valley Provincial is a contracting business in landscaping & horticulture with four main strands:
Landscape Construction - roof gardens, terraces and podiums for property developers
Playcubed Playgrounds - play and recreational installations for schools and local authorities
Grounds Maintenance - landscape management of commercial estates for property owners and managing agents
Plants & Flowers - supply, rental and maintenance of office planting and floristry for businesses in and around London

Roles & Responsibilities:
1.
Sales Support
o Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including CRM, files storage and scheduling
o Manage incoming sales inquiries and provide timely responses to clients.
o Maintain and update customer records and sales databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
2.
Documentation and Reporting
o Help with preparation of regular sales reports, providing insights into progress, targets, and performance.
o Assist with maintaining project documentation in line with company policies.
3.
Customer Relations
o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service.
o Handle customer queries, ensuring resolutions are provided promptly.
o Liaise with clients to gather feedback and improve service offerings.
4.
Communication and Coordination
o Act as a liaison between the sales team, project managers, and other departments to ensure smooth communication.
o Coordinate meetings and appointments for the sales team.
o Assist with scheduling site visits and coordinating project timelines as needed.
5.
Administrative Support
o Ensure office supplies and materials required by the sales team are maintained and readily available.
o Maintain a filing system for all sales documentation, ensuring compliance with company procedures and legal requirements.
o Assist in preparing presentations and promotional materials for client meetings or bids.
6.
Sales and Marketing Support
o Assist with marketing initiatives, such as preparing promotional materials and maintaining a customer contact list.
o Help with the preparation of tender submissions and other sales-related documentation for bids and projects as required.

Person Specification:
Proven background (3-5 years) within a Sales Admin/Business Development role or similar
Industry experience within recreation/landscape/construction desirable
Based in a commutable distance of Dartford, Kent
Strong attention to detail
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications, and CRM systems
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and problem solve
Team player with a flexible attitude
In return we are offering a salary between 25k and 29K per annum depending on experience, fantastic workplace benefits and the opportunity for progression.
This is a full-time role, from Monday through to Friday, from 8am to 5pm each day with a paid break.
