Experienced Saw Operator - Aluminium Profile Cutting
Join Our Precision-Focused Manufacturing Team
We're looking for a
skilled and reliable Saw Operator
to join our growing fabrication team at Aluminium & Glass Facades Ltd. You'll be working with high-quality aluminium profiles, cutting primarily at90 and 45 angles
using atwin-headed mitre saw (Emmegi Precision TS2)
. This is a hands-on role where precision, consistency, and teamwork are key.You'll be joining a supportive team of two other saw operators in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Operate and maintain the Emmegi Precision TS2 twin-headed mitre saw. Cut aluminium profiles accurately to specification, ensuring correct placement and angle. Perform quality checks on all cuts to ensure compliance with technical drawings. Manage production paperwork, including calibration and check sheets. Support and train team members where needed. Track job progress and ensure timely completion of cutting tasks. Report and resolve any non-conformances (NCRs) promptly.
What We're Looking For
Experience operating twin-headed saws (Emmegi or similar). Strong understanding of cutting angles and profile orientation. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Organised and proactive with good communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 15.00 per hour
