Job Description

Overall purpose of the job:

To ensure the reception, spa treatment rooms, wet areas, changing facilities and storage are maintained to the standard required by the company and, that clients, members and guests receive the standard of service they expect by ensuring all transactions and communications are conducted promptly, accurately, efficiently and courteously.

Key Activities:

Customer care skills

Fulfil Reception duties

Improve and maintain facial condition

Provide eyelash and eyebrow treatments to enhance the appearance of eyebrows and lashes

Remove hair using waxing techniques

Provide manicure treatment

Provide pedicure treatment

Provide make-up treatment, plan and promote make-up activities

To attend and pass training with Elemis to the required standard to be able to administer treatments as described and promote sales of Elemis products.

Provide Indian head massage treatment

Provide full body massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils

Provide self-tanning treatments

Provide Reflexology treatment

Qualifications:

Essential:

Completed & passed NVQ L2 and L3 in Beauty Therapy or

CIBTAC and CIDESCO.

Coaching, communication and excellent customer care skills.

Good standard of education

Previous and professional working knowledge of full body massage

Desirable:

Completed & passed NVQ L3 in Beauty Therapy and

CIBTAC and CIDESCO.

HND &/or Degree level industry recognised qualifications.

Elemis trained in all body rituals and treatments.

Jessica (or other premium brand) trained in all treatments and products

Qualified and certified to offer reflexology and Indian Head massage.

Previous professional work experience of similar private health club and Spa.

Pervious working experience in an Elemis Spa

Experience of Spa reception duties.

Have knowledge of new Spa trends and how to introduce them to this Spa.

Experience of health and safety/risk assessment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
