Overview

Exciting opportunity to join a new small team to complete various aspects of the sprinkler industry works. Initially this would involve being an installation engineer with the scope / opportunity to be trained on sprinkler servicing.

Day and evening work availability is a necessity as our projects are approximately 50/50 split. Evening works tend to be worked 4 evening shifts a week with Friday as a stand down day. Various weekend working opportunities being available.

Some travel may be included, but predominately works shall be in the South East.

We are looking for an experienced fitter that is comfortable in using a Rigid 300 threading machine and all that installation requires.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect & test fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps). Maintenance training to be provided. Read and interpret drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing systems once trained. Coordinate with other trades and contractors on job sites. Complete service reports, inspection forms, and documentation accurately. Ensure all work complies with standards. Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition. Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors to ensure job satisfaction.

Requirements

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Valid driver's license

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts. Ability to work in various environments, including hot, cold, or confined spaces. Standing, bending, climbing, and repetitive motion as required by job duties.

Work Environment:

Construction sites, industrial facilities, and occupied buildings. May require evenings, weekends, and travel for out-of-town projects.
