Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tyre Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be comfortable working with both hand and power tools. This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres for various vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met. A full driving license preferred.

Duties

Inspect tyres for wear and damage, providing recommendations for repair or replacement. Remove and install tyres on vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment. Balance tyres to ensure even wear and optimal performance. Perform routine maintenance on tyre equipment to ensure functionality. Assist customers with tyre-related inquiries, providing excellent service and advice. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to tyre installation and repair. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during tyre handling and installation tasks. Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
