A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced upholsterer for a business specializing in furniture craftsmanship in Southwest England. This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative setting, creating and restoring furniture using various materials.

Key Responsibilities

Upholstering new and vintage furniture with different materials Cutting, matching, and sewing materials using industrial equipment Interpreting instructions to achieve quality results Working with colleagues to meet project timelines Ensuring high standards through quality checks Maintaining a tidy and safe workspace Supporting general workshop tasks and equipment maintenance

Requirements

Experience as an upholsterer with strong sewing skills Familiarity with industrial sewing equipment Ability to work with various materials and match patterns Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow instructions accurately Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team Good communication and a professional approach Portfolio or examples of previous work required
