Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window Fitter to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining windows across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction-related trades to utilise their expertise in a dynamic environment. The position involves working on-site, often requiring physical dexterity and attention to detail, ensuring high standards of safety and quality are maintained throughout all tasks.

Salary is dependent on experience

There is also the opportunity for a fitting team I.e. fitter / labourer

Duties

Measure and mark window openings accurately according to project specifications Install new windows, ensuring proper fit, sealing, and insulation for optimal performance Remove old or damaged windows safely and efficiently before fitting replacements Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment to complete installations Conduct repairs or adjustments to existing window fittings as required Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all phases of installation and repair work Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to site safety protocols at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in construction trades Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment used in window fitting Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Physical fitness to handle lifting heavy materials and work at heights safely Valid UK driving licence is preferred for site access and material transportation purposes CSCS card or equivalent

Pay: From 18.00 per hour
