We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service to pet owners and ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary practice. Previous veterinary front of house experience is essential.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, treatments, and general pet care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up to date. Process payments and handle billing inquiries with professionalism. Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry. Provide information on preventative care, nutrition, and other pet-related queries to clients. Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies.

Experience

Previous experience as a receptionist in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail are essential for managing records and appointments. Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. A compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners is crucial for providing outstanding service.
