The role is for a violin tutor in an exciting education centre in Bromley.
We are looking for a violin tutor/teacher for our centre to teach on our 'musical carousel'. The musical carousel is a weekly, 45 minute class where students (in pairs) get to try guitar, violin and piano by rotating through 15 minute sessions.
The role
- You will need to be proficient in violin
- You will be teaching 2 children at a time (with the option of adding some 1-2-1 students before or after the musical carousel times)
- You will need to agree to a DBS check (to make sure everything is in order)
- You will be working a regular weekly schedule mostly within this time period - normally times within the period of
16:00 to 19:30 - on Fridays

- You will be responsible for planning and delivering guitar tuition and writing brief reports after each session.

BONUS SCHEME
At Bromley Conservatoire, we offer a 20% bonus scheme. The base rate of pay is 22 per hour but if you are able to commit to every teaching day in a term, you will receive a lump sum payment at the end of the term of an additional 20% on top of all pay received that term. For example, if you earned 400 in the term from September - December, at the end of the term, in December, you would receive a lump sum payment of 80. This brings your pay effectively to 26.40 per hour.
