Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel welcomed. Present menus and provide detailed information about food preparation, specials, and dietary options. Take accurate orders from guests and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, responding promptly to any requests or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods. Assist in training new staff members as needed, fostering a supportive team environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food preparation techniques, and food safety regulations is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. A genuine desire to help others and provide outstanding guest services is essential for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to 13.00 per hour
