Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards. Monitor guest satisfaction, respond to inquiries, and address any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Adhere to all food safety guidelines, sanitation standards, and health regulations. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring quality control in accordance with culinary standards. Process payments accurately through cash handling or cashiering duties.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, OpenTable, or similar systems is advantageous. Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling practices is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule.
