Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all preferences are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Provide knowledgeable recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques. Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction and address any needs or concerns promptly. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for billing purposes. Assist in setting up and clearing tables, maintaining an organised environment throughout service.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, with a strong background in hospitality. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards is essential. Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively. Strong guest service orientation with the ability to engage positively with patrons. Experience in serving, food preparation, or kitchen operations is advantageous. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately. Pay: 13.58-15.56 per hour
