Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Server to join our vibrant team at a luxury destination in London. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. Your ability to engage with customers, manage time effectively, and demonstrate culinary knowledge will contribute significantly to our restaurant's success.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and taking drink orders. Deliver food and beverages accurately and efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with their selections. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any special requests or dietary restrictions. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution and satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations. Assist in training new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience at five-star venues is preferred, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
