Applicants must have good numeracy skills, be organised, self motivated and be able to work on own initiative. You will need to have the ability to work with packing documentation and item codes that at first glance appear similar, and have IT experience.
Accuracy and understanding differing codes is essential.
Duties will include:
Organising stock
Receiving deliveries and quality control of goods
Dispatch of goods
Occasional driving (long Wheelbase van )
Weighing fabric
Identification and classification of stock
Quality control of dye shades
Hours of work: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm (30min lunch break unpaid, 2 x 15min breaks paid)
42.5 hours per week.
Rate of pay: 12.21 - 13.55 per hour depending on experience
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following:
Good numeracy skills and logic - able to work with product codes
Clean driving licence, with no at fault accident records (max 3 points considered)
Ability to work accurately under pressure
Able to lift up to 25Kg
Fork Lift truck licence desirable but not essential (training can be provided)
Clear communication, both verbal and written
Experience of both pallets and carton warehousing preferred
A clean criminal record (the successful candidate will require a DBS check to be carried out and all requirements met and maintained throughout your employment).
