Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team on Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every beverage is crafted to perfection. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, including alcohol. Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and serving. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions and assist with basic math calculations for order totals. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment.

Qualifications

Previous barista/bar experience is essential; training will also be provided. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively.
