EXPERIENCED YARD ASSISTANT

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Experienced Yard Sales Assistant to join our great team in Carmarthen.

You must be able to work both indoors and outdoors all year round and be physically fit.

Main duties include:

Accepting delivery of goods from suppliers

Operating forklift and unloading and loading where required

Ensuring all products are checked off in an accurate and timely manner along with checking for damages and quantities

Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of materials from vehicles

Keeping the yard clean and tidy

Serving customers within the yard and warehouse

The Person:

A good communicator that works well on his or her own initiative but also as part of a team.

Courteous and welcoming

Positive can-do attitude

Counterbalance or Teletruk Forklift Licence is essential

Customer service orientated

Knowledge of Building materials is also essential.

Previous experience of working in a builders merchants' environment is also an essential requirement for this role.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm plus alternate Saturday mornings 8.00am to 12.00pm.
