We are seeking a knowledgeable Export Key Account Manager to be responsible for driving the expansion of Hepworth's business in international markets, with a primary focus on Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, New Zealand, Australia, and the USA.

This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with key merchants, resellers, and partners in these regions to achieve sales targets and enhance market presence. The Export Key Account Manager will strategise and execute plans to penetrate new markets, leveraging industry knowledge and existing contacts while fostering new connections.

Requirements of the Export Key Account Manager role are:



Minimum:



Minimum of 10 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development in international markets, preferably in sewage water drainage system. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding business overseas. Strong network of contacts with merchants, resellers, or distributors in one or more of the target regions. In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, industry standards, cultural nuances, and business practices in the specified regions. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50% of the time) to assigned international markets. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:



Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Fluency in one or more languages relevant to the target regions. Previous work experience in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, New Zealand, Australia, or the USA. Established relationships with key industry players in the specified markets. Knowledge of sewage water drainage products and market dynamics.

Responsibilities of the Export Key Account Manager role include:



Identify and develop business opportunities with merchants, resellers, and distributors in target international markets. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, New Zealand, Australia, and the USA. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes in assigned regions. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development, logistics) to align strategies with international market needs. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with international partners, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies. Represent the company at international trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote brand visibility. Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback to senior management. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products/services to international clients in coordination with supply chain teams.
