Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Packer to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Handle materials with care, ensuring proper packing and storage techniques are followed. Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock levels. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including checking in deliveries and preparing outgoing shipments. Maintain an organised warehouse environment by stocking shelves and keeping work areas tidy. Perform picking and packing duties accurately to meet order fulfilment requirements. Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before shipment. Engage in heavy lifting as required, moving items weighing up to 25 kg or more. Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are adhered to.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in packing or shipping roles. Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment as needed. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining quality standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts. A proactive approach to safety and adherence to health regulations within the warehouse environment.
