45,500 per annum + benefits Bath Full Time Hybrid



Permanent 37 hours per week

This operational leadership role puts you at the heart of how we engage with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders. As custodian of the Curo brand, you'll develop compelling campaigns that bring our social purpose to life.


Leading a small team within our PR & Communications department, you'll deliver digital content, media materials and customer publications that showcase the positive impact we make every day.

What you'll be doing



Planning and delivering innovative external communications programmes Creating compelling content for our website, social media, and customer publications Managing our press office function, handling media enquiries and identifying feature opportunities Leading the production of key publications including our annual and ESG reports Providing communications expertise to colleagues across the business Managing a small team including a Creative Design Lead and Communications Officer Acting as our business continuity lead within the communications team Supporting our external employer brand development with HR

More about you




We're looking for an experienced communications professional with a proven track record in delivering impactful campaigns and exceptional copywriting skills.


Essential:

Previous experience as a Communications Manager Proven external communications expertise with demonstrable campaign results Strong team leadership skills with experience developing direct reports Expert copywriting abilities with samples across multiple channels and audiences Technical competence in web CMS management, social media strategy, and press office management Experience guiding the production of complex publications like annual reports Commitment to continuous professional development in communications

You'll need excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in this fast-paced role. Your collaborative approach will help you integrate effectively within our broader PR & Communications team.
