In this role, you will support the development and delivery of the School of Engineering and Built Environment's Research, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange (RIKE) external engagement profile.
You will help strengthen the School's research communications and engagement activity, ensuring our work is shared effectively with external audiences and partners.
This post contributes to the School's RIKE profile, particularly by helping to keep our external engagement channels--such as websites, digital platforms and events--up to date, engaging, and fit for the future.
You will provide practical support in developing and maintaining research communications and marketing materials that highlight the School's research and partnerships.
The role will also help to embed good practice in research communications and engagement across Research Operations Team. Working closely with academic and professional services colleagues, you will coordinate engagement activity and contribute to the delivery of a consistent, high-quality service. You will also support the ongoing management and updating of webpages and digital content related to research and external engagement.
You will have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, along with strong editing and web content creation abilities. Some understanding of the research environment in which universities operate would be an advantage. You will also have good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with academic and professional colleagues across the University.
