Were expanding our Sales team at our

Reading Branch

and are looking for a dependable External Sales Assistant to help us continue delivering excellent service to our trade and retail customers.

The Role

We currently have an opportunity for an exciting for an External Sales Assistant to join our team in Reading. The successful candidate will:


Provide customers with advice and guidance on the selection and use of product Maximse sales and margin for the company Manage all customer accounts assigned to you Coordinate a profitable and professional working relationship between company and our customers Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular face to face contact. Work with manufacturers to maximise sales, coverage and profit potential.

Specific Experience & Skills Required

Full driving licence (essential) Sales experience Builders' merchant experience will be advantageous Experience in a similar role The ability to build and maintain relationships with different types of customer Comfortable operating a computer based sales processing system Good telephone manner Friendly, articulate, customer focused Self motivated & driven

The Hours

Week 1: Monday to Friday 07:30 -17:15


Week 2: Monday to Friday 07:30 -17:15 & Saturday 08:00-12:00
