WE ARE HIRING!

EXTERNAL YARD ASSISTANT

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an External Yard Assistant to join our great team at our Storage Facility in Johnstown Carmarthen.

You must be able to work both indoors and outdoors all year round and be physically fit.

Main duties include:

Accepting delivery of goods from suppliers Operating forklift and unloading and loading where required Ensuring all products are checked off in an accurate and timely manner along with checking for damages and quantities Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of materials from vehicles Keeping the yard clean and tidy Serving occasional customers within the yard and warehouse.

The Person:

A good communicator that works well on his or her own initiative but also as part of a team. Courteous and welcoming Positive can-do attitude Forklift licence an advantage but not essential as training can be provided Customer service orientated Knowledge of Building materials is advantageous however, training could be provided if required.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm plus alternate Saturday mornings 8.00am to 12.00pm.
