Sunderland Home Care Associates 20/20 Ltd is an award-winning employee-owned company with an ethos of 'People Before Profit'. We began in 1994 with a team of 20 people providing support, we now employ over 200 staff.

We are looking a caring and reliable person to provide an overnight support service to the tenants in our extra care scheme in Cherry Tree Gardens, Orchard Place, Houghton le Spring DH5 8GY. The successful candidate will work with another support worker to provide the overnight service. We are ideally looking for someone who can do 3 or 4 nights weekly - 10 hours per overnight. The Role:

Uphold the rights and dignity of all clients and respect their privacy and confidentiality Encourage independence and support the wishes of the service users Look after the welfare and personal care of service users assigned to you Assist with mobility, eating, washing/bathing and dressing of service users in a sensitive manner and prepare meals and drinks Supervise the prompting/administration of prescribed medication and perform any other duties to ensure the comfort of the service users Accurately complete all records as requested by line management Attend any training courses that are required
