Job Summary:


We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to lead our Podcast and Business After-School Club, inspiring students aged 7 to 11. to develop skills in storytelling, media production, and entrepreneurial thinking. The successful candidate will guide students through hands-on projects, combining the basics of podcast creation with key business concepts in a fun and educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sessions that teach podcasting and business fundamentals. Help students develop podcast ideas, write scripts, record and edit audio, and publish their projects. Introduce students to basic business concepts such as branding, marketing, and monetisation. Foster creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Provide individual guidance and support to help students bring their podcast and business ideas to life. Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Track progress and provide feedback to students and parents as needed. Manage equipment and ensure proper setup and storage after each session.

Qualifications and Skills:



Experience in podcast production or media creation. Knowledge of basic business principles, especially branding and entrepreneurship. Strong communication and organisational skills. Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting. Ability to inspire and engage students with diverse interests and abilities. Enthusiasm for teaching and fostering a love for creativity and business. An interest in podcasting.

Preferred Qualifications:



Previous teaching or coaching or working with children experience. Familiarity with podcast editing software and audio equipment. A degree or certification in media, business, or education. Enhance DBS (On update system) First Aid Trained Safeguarding

Compensation:


Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
