The governors of Wyken Croft Primary School are excited to offer a full time teaching position initially within our school Nursery commencing in January 2026.

We are

A large primary school with the heart of a small school where everyone matters, every day. Able to provide tailored Induction and on-going CPD. A supportive and welcoming school where children are excited to learn. Looking for a class teacher who is keen to join our experienced team at an exciting time.

What is the job role?

The successful candidate will need to:-

Undertake the professional duties of a school teacher as outlined in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document. As a primary teacher, to teach pupils in the age range of 3 - 11 years. Ensure high-quality teaching, effective use of resources and the highest standards of learning, achievement and behaviour for the pupils in your year.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will need to:

Be passionate about learning and be able to demonstrate outstanding teaching leadership. Be an outstanding classroom practitioner and have a clear vision for further development of the curriculum. Have a deep understanding of the needs of different children and be passionate about providing the very best for all children in our school. Have a clear understanding of Safeguarding and the role of a leader in this process. Play a role in organisation and school policy development. Have the personality, drive and energy to motivate and support everyone within our learning community.
