Vita et Pax Preparatory School is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, committed, and nurturing Early Years Practitioner to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team in delivering high-quality care, teaching, and learning experiences.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support all aspects of nursery life, helping to foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children aged 2 to 4 years.
Key Responsibilities
Observe and monitor key children's development across all areas of learning
Support the EYFS teacher in the day-to-day running of the classroom
Work with individual pupils and small groups to support their learning and development
Prepare classroom resources and assist in lesson planning when required
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies
Actively engage in nursery life, including events, trips, and activities
Participate in the wider extra-curricular programme of the nursery
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and professionals regarding key child's progress
Attend to children's physical and emotional wellbeing, including feeding, changing, and activity supervision
Person Specification
A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for working with young children
A strong commitment to the ethos and values of Vita et Pax Preparatory School
A reliable, adaptable, and flexible team player
A relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
Previous experience working in an EYFS setting is highly desirable
