We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role requires effective communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to manage and drive activities that promote the development of young children in a nurturing environment. The role is based in the Bispham area, (FY2).
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the nursery's policies and procedures.
Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure the well-being of each child.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.
Manage daily routines effectively, ensuring that all health and safety standards are met.
Requirements
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in a nursery setting is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A proactive approach with the drive to create enriching experiences for children.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
A commitment to ongoing professional development in childcare practices.
Level 3 qualification.
