Contract Type :Permanent Job ID: 1523891 An opportunity has arisen for an internal candidate to become the EYFS room lead at Oasis Academy Warndon.

About the Role:

As EYFS Room Lead, you will:


Oversee the day-to-day running of an EYFS room, ensuring compliance with statutory frameworks.


Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS curriculum.


Support and mentor practitioners, fostering a collaborative and positive team culture.


Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding policies.


Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Essential Requirements:

Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent).


Experience of room leadership in a childcare or learning setting.


Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.


Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Desirable:

Degree-level qualification in a relevant field.


Experience delivering intervention programmes.


Thrive Practitioner status.
