Person Specification:



Holds QTS, with ECTs warmly encouraged to apply Dedicated, professional, and demonstrates excellent classroom practice within EYFS or KS1 Holds a relevant teaching qualification and is an outstanding practitioner for early learning Demonstrates strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire young children Has a passion for early childhood education and the ability to foster enthusiasm for learning Committed to ongoing professional development and contributing to whole-school initiatives Has experience in curriculum planning, assessment, and delivering high-quality learning experiences in EYFS/KS1 Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging early learning environment

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the EYFS/KS1 curriculum Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons that inspire, challenge, and support all pupils Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, using observations and data to inform next steps in learning Support and mentor colleagues where appropriate, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement Work closely with senior leadership to help implement school-wide strategies for early academic success Build and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community Promote early enrichment opportunities and initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences
