To achieve this mission, RMS draws on its core capabilities in advanced platforms and weapons, C4ISR, global sustainment, training and sensors.They will provide daily operational support and manage the F35 team at Marham in support of the F35 programme from a Customs Compliance perspective (e.g.: clearance of goods and shipments) as well as ensuring the successful delivery to the customer ensuring the technical excellence and practical/business driven approach is taken.
Plans and manage export/import activities including the flow of traffic to/from foreign destinations, brokerage and customs transactions in support of the F35 programme for the Customs Warehouse.
Maintains facility awareness and compliance with all regulations governing the shipment, receipt and documentation of exported/imported products.
Researches and resolves export and import issues, including those related to customers or suppliers.
Interfaces with internal and external worldwide export/import operations and organisations.
Support the Trade Compliance Manager with appropriate government representatives to facilitate compliance audits and resolve problems.
Keep the Trade Compliance Manager apprised of current issues and their mitigation/resolution.
Provide liaison between UK business and US function, ensuring compliance with all Trade Compliance Processes.
Identify areas of improvement and optimising Customs Compliance in support of the customs warehouse at Marham.
Required skills, qualifications and experience
