Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled F5 Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining F5 load balancer solutions to optimise application delivery and security. Responsibilities

Design, configure, and optimise F5 load balancer solutions to ensure high availability and scalability of applications. Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment and management using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs and optimise application delivery through F5 products. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve reliability and security. Manage infrastructure using version control tools like GitHub and SVN, ensuring best practices are followed. Maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Participate in on-call rotations for incident resolution and system maintenance outside standard working hours when required. Stay current with emerging technologies including AWS, Azure, REST APIs, and Linux-based systems to recommend improvements.

Skills

Proven experience with F5 load balancer configuration and management. Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, VBA, or Bash for automation tasks. Extensive knowledge of software development frameworks including JavaScript, Java, C#, C++, Ruby on Rails, .NET, and C. Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL and SQL Server. Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure for application deployment. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs for integration purposes. Proficiency with version control tools including Git and SVN. Knowledge of Linux operating systems for server management and deployment automation. Experience with application development processes involving API integration and front-end development is desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
