We operate three world-class venues in Folkestone: F51, Three Hills Sports Park and Folkestone Sea Sports. The Role
We're recruiting 4 x seasonal Marshalls to join the team at F51, one of the UK's most exciting multi-sport venues. As a Marshall, you'll be based mainly in our Skate, Scooter and BMX areas but will also support front of house and cafe operations. You'll be the friendly face our visitors meet on arrival, providing support, safety and a positive experience for everyone using the centre.
This is a varied, hands-on role, perfect for someone who loves action sports, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support and supervise activity across the skatepark and BMX floors.
Greet and assist guests at reception and in the cafe.
Respond to customer enquiries in a friendly and professional way.
Work across multiple areas, including climbing, bouldering, cafe, reception, boxing, and skate floors.
Help facilitate bookings, birthday parties, and group events.
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Keep equipment and public areas clean and in good order.
Process transactions and upsell services when appropriate.
Attend training sessions, including safeguarding and first aid.
Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance across the facility.
What We're Looking For
Experience or confidence in Skate, Scooter or BMX (preferred).
Experience in a similar marshalling, leisure or customer service role (preferred).
Comfortable rotating between skatepark, cafe and reception areas.
Friendly, proactive and positive, someone who can chat to anyone.
Able to work flexibly across weekdays, weekends and late evenings.
Confident with multitasking and staying calm under pressure.
A team player who contributes to a supportive, inclusive environment.
Desirable (Not Essential)
First Aid certification.
Experience delivering group lessons or guided activities.
Sports coaching qualifications or experience.
Working Hours/Pattern/Contract/Salary:
Monday to Sunday during the hours of 08:30am-11:00pm.
F51 hosts a number of events which will require work patterns extended to 2am.
Zero Hour Contract with variable hours up to 37.5 hours available per position.
Salary - National Minimum Wage based on age.
Immediate start until the end of September 2025, with possibility of ongoing position.
