Are you a skilled tradesperson with a passion for maintaining high standards in building fabric and facilities?


ISS is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Fabric Engineer to join our team supporting client sites. This role is essential in ensuring the integrity, safety, and quality of our built environment.

Key Responsibilities


Conduct technical surveys and produce reports. Respond to help desk requests and building fabric issues. Coordinate client requests and manage specialist subcontractors. Carry out minor installations and redecorating tasks. Support engineering colleagues with semi-skilled tasks. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Quality Assurance standards. Inspect and repair floor, wall, and ceiling coverings. Maintain and refurbish furniture, doors, windows, and fixtures.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications


City & Guilds or NVQ in a building trade (e.g. painting, plastering, joinery, carpentry). PASMA/IPAF certification. Experience in painting, decorating, and wallpapering to high standards. Proven track record in carpentry, flooring, and general building maintenance. Familiarity with computer-based PPM systems. Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices. Experience in banking or multi-site environments is a plus.
