Introduction

Poppleton are looking to fill a number of sheet metal fabrication worker positions to join our dedicated, friendly and hardworking team to match our continued success. Full time permanent position. Working hours 08:00 - 16:30 (Mon-Thurs) 08:00 - 13:45 (Fri) Our Head Quarters and main workshop is based in Mochdre, Colwyn Bay and we have a second facility in Kinmel Bay, transport will be provided from Mochdre to Kinmel Bay site if required. Generous annual holiday allowance.

Responsibilities

Complete all manufacturing tasks assigned by the Manufacturing/Factory Manager. Ensure a commitment to quality at all stages of production to include visual inspection of work stages to include final review of works. Fully capable of producing all fabrication work to a high quality standard. Compliance with company Health & Safety protocols and the desire to work safely, supporting maintenance procedures & respecting quality control. Ensuring good personal time keeping and work inline with Poppleton's policies and procedures. Interpreting drawings and specifications accurately.

Essential Skills and Experience

Strong attention to detail. Be able to work on own initiative and also within the team. Good communication skills. Tidy and highly organised. Knowledge of safety standards and compliance with the mandatory use of protective clothing and equipment. Experience/background working within a manufacturing environment. (Desirable) Sheetmetal experience and/or relevant qualifications. (Desirable)

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
