Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of future work, we are now looking for a skilled Fabricator/Plater to join our workshop team.

The Role

This is a full-time, workshop-based role ideal for a confident and experienced fabricator/plater with a background in medium to heavy structural and bespoke steelwork. You'll be working as part of a close-knit team, fabricating from drawings and playing a key role in delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Extremely competitive rates of pay

are available, based on experience. Overtime is regularly available (including weekends), with opportunities for training and progression within the business.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

Strong fabrication background essential -4+ years' experience in structural and/or bespoke steelwork Proven experience working with both mild steel and stainless steel Skilled in marking out, cutting, drilling, profiling, and assembling complex parts Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings Capable of building one-off items from scratch with minimal supervision Oxy/Propane cutting/burning experience MIG welding skills are beneficial but not the focus of the role Confident using a wide range of hand tools and workshop equipment Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail Strong communication and teamworking skills Flexible and proactive attitude to meeting deadlines and adapting to workload Good knowledge of health & safety practices in a fabrication workshop Looking to develop a long-term career with a business that values its people
