Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality metal components and assemblies, ensuring that all products meet our standards for quality and precision.

Duties

Perform MIG, and a small amount of TIG welding to fabricate metal components according to specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and assemble materials. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication. Conduct fabrication of sheet metal parts with precision and attention to detail. Assemble components as per design requirements, ensuring structural integrity. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.

Skills

Proficient in general welding techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to fabrication tasks. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes is advantageous. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during the fabrication process. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Hours - 4 day week basic 6.00am - 4.15pm or 7.00am - 5.15 pm

Overtime

Time & half for hours worked Monday - Saturday.

Double time for hours worked Sunday.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
