Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with hand and power tools. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality metal components.

Duties

Perform TIG and Stick welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. Utilise hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts. Work with sheet metal to create components as per design requirements. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to execute precise fabrications. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Experience

Proven experience in welding and fabrication is essential, with specific skills in TIG welding and Stick welding being highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is required. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Previous experience in assembly processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
