Job Description
Our client based in the Cheadle Heath area of Stockport is looking to recruit for a Fabricator / Welder to start ASAP on a permanent basis.
Duties include:
- Assembly and welding of thin gauge Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, and specialized alloys to make a specified product to meet planned production times and deliver the requirements of their customers.
- You will be working as part of a compact and dynamic team; the role of the Assembly Welder is to ensure that goods are assembled and welded to specifications and deadlines.
- Reporting to the Production Supervisors
- You will be required to read and understand CAD Drawings.
- Use a range of equipment to assemble components within dimensional tolerances before being welded in readiness for final test and inspection.
- Tig Welding and Fabrication experience (Some training provided on processes)
- MiG welding would be advantageous.
- 7.30 am to 4.30 pm \xe2\x80\x93 Monday to Thursday.
- 7.30 am to 12.00 pm - Friday.
- 38.5 hours per week
- Starting at \xc2\xa313.00 p/h and then increasing to \xc2\xa313.50 p/h upon completion of the training period.
- Free on-site parking.
- Straight Permanent Position.
