We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. This role involves working with various materials, primarily sheet metal, and requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in assembling components and ensuring that all products meet our stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities

Fabricate components from sheet metal according to specifications Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various fabrication tasks Assemble parts and ensure proper fit and finish of products Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency
You will have previous food industry experience and be able to fabricate to a high standard.

This is a varied role which requires an element of self initiation and the ability to motivate yourself without continuous supervision/direction. Duties will include modifications on guards, frameworks and mezzanine platforms.

Working 50 hours per week, 10 hours per day, some weekend work available but not guaranteed. Immediate start, 6 months minimum.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fabrication Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to interpret technical drawings Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations Experience in assembly processes is advantageous Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
