Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, including sheet metal. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using both hand and power tools. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for assembling components, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project requirements. Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication is essential. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations are required. A commitment to safety practices in the workplace is crucial. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
