Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in welding and fabrication processes. This role involves working with various materials, including sheet metal, and requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for assembling components to create high-quality products that meet our specifications.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and weld components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Utilise mig welding techniques to join metal parts effectively. Assemble various parts and structures using hand tools and power tools. Conduct quality checks to ensure that all fabricated items meet required standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to improve fabrication processes and efficiency.

Experience

Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with sheet metal. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of work.
