We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, including sheet metal. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in using both hand and power tools. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play a crucial role in assembling components and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications. Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including stick welding and MIG welding. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to cut, shape, and join materials. Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints for accurate fabrication. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project requirements.

Experience

Proven experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Familiarity with basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Experience working with sheet metal is advantageous. Ability to operate various power tools safely and effectively. A commitment to producing high-quality work while adhering to safety protocols.
