We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components with precision and efficiency, ensuring all work meets quality standards. Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various metals, including sheet metal Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during fabrication tasks Cut, shape, and assemble metal components with precision to meet project specifications Operate fabrication machinery such as shears, presses, and grinders as needed Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to standards Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately

Skills

Proficiency in TIG welding and welding techniques Strong knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal and mechanical components Experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during fabrication Ability to assemble components accurately according to specifications Good understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop environment
