Job Description

Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding stainless steel components to assemble structural forms such as hygienic pipe work and mounting frames.

Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding and utilise other power tools.

- Adhere to employer and client health and safety requirements.
- Fabricate and weld metal parts using hand tools and proprietary components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to fabricate products accurately.
- Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements and dimensions.
- Ensure the quality of welded components meets industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements:
- Proficient in mechanical knowledge with experience in welding and fabrication of stainless steel pipe work and box section materials.
- Skilled in TIG welding techniques and working with sheet metal.
- Ability to operate power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and welding metal.
- Competent in using hand tools for precise fabrication work.
- Strong understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations.

- Qualified for operating FLT, IPAF, PASMA.

- Certified for work in confined spaces would be an advantage.

- Familiar with an Orbital Welder would be an advantage.

- Driving Licence.

- Happy with flexible working and willing to work longer days and weekends when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 16.00-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
