Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques, including stick welding. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating components using hand and power tools, with a focus on sheet metal work. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to perform basic maths for precise measurements.

Responsibilities

Assemble and fabricate metal components according to specifications. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Perform welding tasks, primarily using stick welding techniques. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication and welding, particularly with sheet metal. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to fabrication tasks. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.80-15.00 per hour
