Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including Stick welding.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
Troubleshoot any issues during the fabrication process and suggest improvements.
Experience
Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong understanding of welding techniques.
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the fabrication process.
Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous.
Strong mechanical knowledge, enabling effective problem-solving during fabrication tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
